How QuantumRF Works
QuantumRF is part of InMode’s IgniteRF workstation. This non-surgical treatment tightens loose skin and melts excess fat, sculpting and refining areas of the face and body. QuantumRF is only minimally invasive, much less so than surgical skin-tightening and body-contouring procedures, and it doesn’t require general anesthesia.
QuantumRF’s lightweight handpiece features a cannula (a thin tube), which is inserted via a small incision. Next, the handpiece is used to deliver pulses of fractionated bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy into the deeper layers of the tissues. This includes the subdermal plexus, a tissue layer that provides the skin with nutrients and blood. During the treatment, the dermis is left undamaged.
Due to the procedure’s targeted precision, recovery time and downtime are much shorter than those of other treatments. Safety is also increased, and the likelihood of post-treatment inflammation is reduced.
QuantumRF’s Effects on the Tissues
